Obituary for Stanley C. "Stan" Maschino

MASCHINO, Stanley C., “Stan” age 84 of Oakwood, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents Archie and Eleanora Maschino. Stan was a 1951 graduate of Chaminade High School. He played football and graduated from Ohio University. He served in the U.S. Army and began his career at The Dayton Nut Company which he later purchased in 1976. Stan continued to run the business with his sons until his passing. He was a Paul Harris Fellow with the Northmont Rotary Club. He was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Oakwood. Survived by his wife of 57 years Marilyn, daughter Lynn (Christopher) Hartman of Oakwood, sons Kyle (Lisa) of Oakwood, Kurt (Trina) of Oakwood, 5 grandchildren Tyler (Jennifer) Maschino, Alex Maschino, Connor and Luke Maschino, Grace Hartman, sister Marlene (Charles) Nelson, and brother Dale (Susan) of VA. Memorial Services 10 a.m. Saturday, June 3rd at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church 33 W. Dixon Ave. Oakwood, OH by Father John Atkins. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Oak Tree Corner 2312 Far Hills Ave. Dayton, OH 45419 which is a grieving center for children or a charity of one’s choice in Stan’s memory.
