Testimonies

In the last three years, our family lost our Father ( Oct. 2010) and more recently our Mother in July 2013. During these two difficult times, our family was drawn in and supported by another family- the Baker-Hazel & Snider "Family". Rick, his daughter Abby and the entire Funeral Home staff provided the care, concern and love our family needed for the overwhelming decision that had to be made. Rick's honesty, gentleness and guidance in working through the various options for our parents' funerals was very beneficial and appreciated. The entire Baker/Hazel & Snider staff "Family" were patient and compassionate with our family. The staff lifted our spirits, provided for our needs and attended to all of the details of our parents' funerals. Our parents' farewells were a tribute to their lives that other family members and friends called "Beautiful", "Positve" and "Uplifting". From the Fulwiler Family to the Baker/Hazel & Snider Family - THANKS for your kindness, dedication and service.

Richard J. Fulwiler

I am so grateful to the staff at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home for the way they treated my entire family when my father passed away. They truly have a gift! Rick Snider made us feel so comfortable when he picked up my father from the nursing home. His gentle nature and caring words helped put us all at ease and I knew my father was in the best hands. Abby, Rick and the entire Baker- Hazel and Snider families were amazing with all the planning. They guided us through the decisions that needed to be made with beautiful options which made hard decisions easy.

Losing my father was one of the most difficult times, Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home made a sorrowful time bearable and helped us see the importance of celebrating my dad’s life. The memories we created with the slide show helped all our family and friends remember my dad at his best. Thanks to all the staff at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home for making my dad’s funeral one that I will look back on as a celebration of his life.

- Jenn Dudon Musser

"At one of the worst times in your life, such as losing a child to death, what you need most is someone to show care and compassion. The staff of Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home has a special gift for such care. They show, in every detail, your most precious person is being handled with the utmost care and respect. The staff of Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home is a blessing in their profession and for that I am eternally grateful.

They will go the extra mile to work with you regarding your financial circumstances. What you are comfortable spending and what you can afford. Cost is not their primary concern. Helping you get through a most difficult situation is their primary concern. You cannot afford not to go there for the care you will receive."

– Billie Stewart

"There are no words to adequately describe how thankful I am that the Baker-Hazel & Snider family was involved in my husband's funeral. From the planning several years ago, through the days of his burial, they were the extra shoulder to lean on.

But, their contact with me didn't end at the cemetery. Abby Snider continued to be in contact with me, with a comforting word, and quick response to other requests and needs. Her compassion, foresight, and follow-through carry Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home proudly into the next generation."

Sincerely,

Elizabeth  (Betty) D'Aloia

"Rick took care of everything. He treated us as if we were family, at the time we could not have asked for more."

-Mary Jane

Abby was exceptional. She showed passion, respect and was always so helpful. She always made sure our needs were met, She was very courteous and professional. The night of the memorial she was not happy with the floral arrangement and she had it redone."
